Background "SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS (not a notice of solicitation issue): Vehicle Operations and Maintenance, anticipated Period of Performance -- 1 October 2001 thru 30 September 2006. NAICS (North American Industry Classification System) Number: 48849, converted from SIC 4173. Size Standard: $5 Million to be used in the event this becomes a Small Business Set Aside. Contractors interested in submitting a proposal should reply via e-mail to: sandy.dugan@wpafb.af.mil providing company name, address, point of contact, phone number, fax number, e-mail address and whether the firm would be considered a Large or Small business based on the $5M size standard. This e-mail response will not register your firm to receive the electronic solicitation package. Registration should be accomplished on the Pre-Award Information Exchange (PIXS) website at http://www.pixs.wpafb.af.mil. The Solicitation, which will be issued approx 30 April, is to provide vehicle operations management and vehicle maintenance in accordance with Statement of Work (SOW). A DRAFT SOW is posted on the PIXS website. It is a PDF file and because of its size, it is in three parts.
