Description

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division (NSWC Crane) has a requirement to fabricate sufficient X-band (10 GHz) High Power Microwave Absorber (HIPMA) modules to form an 8 foot by 8 foot absorber wall. The requirements include: 1 lot of engineering services for modeling and test of the behavior of HIPMA , generating design guidelines to design HIPMA modules that may be stacked or tiled to form absorber walls. 2 each HIPMA modules. 1 each 8 foot by 8 foot absorber wall of HIPMA modules. 1 lot of data. Absorber material used for all modeling, testing, and fabrication shall be existing commercially available absorber with -40 dB or less reflectivity at normal incidence of 10 GHz. Fabrication and testing of the two HIPMA modules is required within 12 months after award. Fabrication of the absorber wall is within 15 months after award. Deliveries are FOB destination.
