Description

The Environmental Protection Agency has a requirement for Custodial Services for EPA facilities Research Triangle Park, NC. The requirement is a competitive 8(a) set-aside for certified 8(a) sources. The contract will be a firm fixed price contract, will have a base period of performance for twelve (12) months and will allow for four twelve-month options. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) No. 561720 applies with a size standard of $12M in average annual receipts over the last three years. It is estimated that this solicitation will be issued on or around 04/15/01; with proposals due approximately forty five (45) days after the issuance date. The solicitation and amendments will be available via internet World Wide Web at http://www.epa.gov/oam/rtp_cmd. Firms are encouraged to access the solicitation and amendments via Internet. If you will be obtaining a copy of the solicitation via Internet, it will be your responsibility to frequently check the same site where the solicitation is posted for any amendments. However, only those firms who do NOT have the capability to obtain the solicitation from Internet, may submit a written request for a diskette. Diskettes will not be sent to those firms who have Internet access. If you request a diskette of the solicitation, you will receive amendments by mail, unless you notify us otherwise. Telephone and fax requests will not be honored. Only one copy shall be sent to a corporate entity, regardless of the number of requests from one or more different geographic locations. A copy of the preliminary source list will be posted along with the solicitation. Certified 8(a) sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the Agency.
