The American Metalcasting Consortium [http://amc.aticorp.org/]is currently contracted to the Defense Logistics Agency to assist with DOD/DLA metalcasting acquisition and procurement. As part of the strategy to reduce cost and lead-times, AMC is partnering with NASA to present a Rapid Prototyping and Tooling for Metalcastings Workshop scheduled for April 5-6 in Huntsville, AL. We encourage you to consider attending this workshop that is primarily targeted for metalcasters, and pattern and tooling producers. Presenters will include RP equipment manufacturers, foundry people using current RP tools, university researchers, and some military perspectives. Please also forward this information to any companies or organizations that you may be teaming with so they are aware of this opportunity. Registration fee is an affordable $75 (and includes 2 lunches and dinner), however attendance is limited and available only to U.S. citizens.
