Description

The FISC Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to procure on a sole source basis non-personal maintenance of existing T1/DS1 circuits at a fixed rate, and allow for the procurement and installation of additional circuit(s) at the fixed rate in support of the Base Communications Office (BCO) Great Lakes, Illinois. Award of a firm fixed price contract is anticipated to include a base year, commencing 01 Oct 01, and four one-year options. The acquisition is being processed via FAR 12.6. The applicable industrial standard classification is 1731. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All responsible sources may submit a quote that shall be considered by the FISC Norfolk Det Phila.
