CALL FOR PAPERS AND VENDOR PARTICIPATION -- -- -- -- -- The Robins AFB AFCEA Chapter is sponsoring an information technology conference that will address the technology needs of the Robins AFB community. The conference will be held in conjunction with an AFCEA luncheon. In addition, the event will be marketed throughout the base and the surrounding tenant organizations. The conference committee is currently accepting presentation abstracts and exhibit space contracts from the government and vendor communities. -- -- -- -- -- We are currently seeking presenters for a panel discussion on Portals (the Air Force Portal), wireless networking, and a hacker demonstration. Other Topics of interest include Computer Security Networking Remote Network Management ATM Video Teleconferencing -- Database search engines Database Storage, Securely posting information Digital Signatures, and File Transfer Protocol (FTP), Personal Computers, Networking, VPN (Virtual Private Networking) -- -- -- -- -- LOCATION: Robins AFB NCO Club on April 19, 2001.
