SEALING COMPOUND: DESCRIPTION In accordance with Military Specification MIL-S-45180D, Sealing Compound, Gasket, Hydrocarbon Fluid and Water Resistant, dated June 4, 1984. Type II: non-hardening Size: The product shall be furnished in 11 fl oz quantities in collapsible metal or plastic tubes made and fitted for a vapor-tight, resealable, screw cap. There shall be no interaction chemically or physically with the contents so as to damage the container or alter the strength, quality, or purity of the contents. The filled tubes shall be closed so that the contents will not spill or leak from the tubes during shipment, handling, storage, and redistribution. Shelf life code: 6 (2 years) Maximum age on delivery: 3 months EXCEPTION(S) TO TECHNICAL DOCUMENT 1. Paragraph 4.6.3, line 3, after WW-T-700/1 add, "or 6061 aluminum alloy".
