Description

This is a notification of sole procurement for Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton, California utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Marine Corps intends to issue a sole source contract to Pribbs Steel & Mfg. Inc for the purchase of (20 ea) Replacement trailer beds for the M105A2 Trailer, NSN 2510012372713, to be painted CARC 383 green with chip resistance sealer and undercoating. Award will be made utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. No solicitation is available. The proposed contract action is for an item for which the Government intends to solicit with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302.1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within ten (10) days after date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Anticipated award date for this is 6 April 2001. Offers are due by 2 April 2001 @ 4:00 PST. Federal Express should be sent to Contracting Division, Bldg. 22180, MCB, Camp Pendleton, Ca. 92055, Attn: SSgt Lemaster. All offers not sent through the U.s. Postal Service will be considered to be hand carrier and direct delivered. Hand carried offers must be delivered to Building 22180, MCB, Camp Pendleton, Ca. Direct delivery of offers is only possible during weekdays, excluding federal holidays, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. . Mailed or faxed copy offers must be received no later than 4:00 p.m. PST, on 2 April 2001. Faxed offers should be addressed to SSgt. Mike LeMaster 760-725-8445 or (760) 725-4346, and should clearly state the solicitation number on the first page to ensure receipt. Qouters bear the burden of ensuring that all pages of the quote reach the designated office before the deadline specified in this solicitation. The quoter bears the risk of non-receipt of facsimile transmissions and should confirm by telephone that any facsimile was received.
