Description

The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12 and the Simplified Acquisition Procedures set forth in FAR Part 13. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. See Note 1. The NAICS Code and the small business size standard for this procurement are 332912 and 500, respectively. The quoter shall state in their quotation their size status for this procurement. All qualified responsible business sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, which is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ); quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. NASA/MSFC plans to acquire the following: NSN Classification: 4810 DESCRIPTION: TWO STAGE HYDRAULIC SERVO VALVES QTY: 27 EA PERFORMANCE SPECIFICATIONS: Pilot Stage: Jet Pipe or Deflector Jet System Filtration (Minimum): ISO Code 4406 18/15 Fluid: MIL-H-5606 (Petroleum Based) Temp Range: -40 Deg to 250 Deg F Pressure: Operating: 200 to 3000 psi Proof: 4500 psi Burst: 7500 psi Rated Flow: 1 gpm @ 1000 psi Valve Pressure Drop Leakage: Internal: .25 gpm max @1000 psi External: None Pressure Gain: 30% supply min at 2% rated current Hysteresis: 3% max of rated current Threshold: 0.2% max of rated current 90 Deg Phase Lag: 80 Hz Rated Current: 20 ma Differential Coil Resistance: 250 Ohms per coil Electrical Connector: PC02H-8-4P Ports: .250 Port O-Ring: MS28775-011 O-Ring Compound: Viton Cover Orientation: Connector Over Return Port Polarity: A+ B- Flow out Cyl Port 2 C+ D- Flow out CYl Port 2 (Drawing Diagram available upon request) The provisions and clauses in the RFQ are those in effect through FAC 97-23. Delivery to MSFC is required within 120 days ARO. Delivery shall be FOB destination. The DPAS rating for this procurement is DO-C9. Quoters shall provide the information required by FAR 52.212-1. addenda to FAR 52.212-1 are as follows: MSFC 52.213-91, NFS 1852.211-70, 1852.214-71, AND 1852.215-84. Reserve paragraph(s) (d),(e),(f),(h), and (i) in 52.212-1. Quoters must provide coopies of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certifications -- Commercial Items with their quote.
