Description

The Navy has entered into a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) with Alloy Surfaces Company, Inc., Chester Township, PA. The scope of this effort is to integrate Alloy Surfaces' patented Special material payload into designed military hardware for production of effective military use items, especially in the expendable IR countermeasure area. Upon issuance of orders against the BOA, the Contractor will be required to fabricate production quantities of IR countermeasures which utilize Alloy Surfaces' Special Material payload. The period for the BOA is expected to be five years from the award date, which was 19 January 00. Periodic review and synopsis of the BOA will be performed at this activity. Individual orders will specify required tasks and all applicable delivery terms and conditions. Over the next six months, it is expected that 260,706 MJU-52/B decoy devices, 28,827 MJU-27/A/B decoy devices and 31,907 MJU-49/B decoy devices will be procured. Notes 22 and 26 apply.
