Description

This is a Combined synopsis/solicitation for Commercial Items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No. M62974-01-R-2000 is issued as a Request for Proposals (RFP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-23. This is a 100% small business set aside. The standard industrial codes are 3631- 750 employees; 3632 -- 1000 employees and 3639-500 employees. This is a Brand Name only for Items 0001, 0002, 0003. No substitutions will be accepted. The items are as follows: (0001) 30 ea Gas Ranges, standard, with rack guard, four sealed range top burners, w/2 removable oven racks, roll out broiler, porcelain oven door with window, interior oven light, digital clock timer and electronic ignition, white only. To be Magic Chef Model CGR1420BDW. (0002) 30 ea Refrigerators, 18.5 cubic foot, top mount model, frost free, shelves and crispers, white only. To be Magic Chef Model CTB1922ARW. 0003) 30 ea Dishwashers, automatic temperature control, hard food disposal, 8 hour delay, sound suppression, dual filtration system, auto clean, extra durable nylon rack, white only. (0004) 10 ea Washers with hoses, 27" single speed, 3.0 cap wash basket, 3 automatic cycles, direct drive, 1/2 hp motor, 120 v, 60 hz, A.C., agitate speed 180 spm; spin speed 640 rpm to included hoses, white only. Proposals are solicited FOB Destination to Marine Corps Air Station,Yuma AZ. Delivery is required for all items on or before 30 April 2001. The government will make one award resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror. Technical offers shall be submitted no later than 1200 MST 28 March 2001. Technical offers shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-2, Offerors Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items [the best way to complete this certification is to download the FAR Clauses (Volume II) at http://www.arnet.gov/far, print out the clause FAR 52.212-3, and fill in the appropriate blanks]. Do not submit pricing with your technical offer. Pricing will be determined utilizing a REVERSE AUCTION. All technically acceptable offerors may participate in the reverse auction. The reverse auction will take place on 29 March 2001 at 1200 EST. Award is anticipated to be made on 30 March 2001. Offers, including price, are binding for 30 days after submission and written acceptance of an offer by the government will result in a contract. Offers may be submitted by facsimile transmission to 520-269-2287/2288. Offerors bear the burden of ensuring that all pages of the offer reach the designated office before the deadline specified in this solicitation. The offeror bears the risk of non-receipt of facsimile transmissions and should confirm by telephone that any facsimile was received.
