Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Custom Made Furniture, issued by the 55th Contracting Office, Offutt AFB, Nebraska. This document was prepared in accordance with the format found in the Federal Acquisition Regulations Document (FAR) subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This electronic announcement with the attachments is the only solicitation being issued. A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation number(s) F25600-01-T-0038 is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions/clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-13. The government intends to issue a small business set-aside purchase order for the following custom made Item(s) Wardrobe Cabinets, Refrigerator and Upper STA Cabinets, Desks, Nightstands, and Headboards. The quantity per each listed item is 16 units. All work specified in the statement of work must be completed NLT May 12, 2001. All Items to be supplied should be included in the quotation because NO PARTIAL QUOTES WILL BE CONSIDERED. All quotes should be received by 5 April 2001/4pm,CST and, if possible, sent back electronically via e-mail. The following clauses and provisions will apply to this acquisition. FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors. Offerors shall include a complete copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offerors Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with the offer. The following clauses apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items. FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders-Commercial Items. The following are also applicable to this acquisition, DFAR 252.232-7009, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer (CCR). 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable To Defense Acquisitions Of Commercial Items. 252.225-7001, Buy American Act and Balance of Payment Program (41 U.S.C. 10, E.O. 10582). 252.225-7036, North American Free Trade Agreement Implementation Act (Alt I). DFAR 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration, is applicable to this acquisition as well. Hardcopies of the Statement of Work and Bid Schedule will only be provided if the electronic version is unobtainable. Quotes must be valid until 15 May 2001.
