Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This buy is being conducted in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(c), Application for brand name descriptions, and FAR 13.5. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number N00164-01-R-0075 is hereby issued as a request for Proposal (RFP). THIS IS A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP). A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. TO SUBMIT A PROPOSAL YOU NEED TO LOOK UP THE CLAUSES INCLUDED AND SUBMIT THE REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS AND REPRESENTATIONS. SIMPLY SENDING IN A PRICE AND DELIVERY TERMS IS NOT SUFFICIENT FOR A PROPOSAL. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-23 and DCN 20001213. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 421690 and the size standard is 500 employees. This requirement is for the following: CLIN 0001 -- Circuit Board Parts for MA000444 and MA000279 in accordance with Parts Lists that can be downloaded at http://www.crane.navy.mil/supply/announce.htm (THE SPECIFIED NEW, BRAND NAME ONLY PARTS ARE REQUIRED; NO REFURBISHED PARTS WILL BE ACCEPTED). Quantity -- 1 Lot. Delivery is required F.O.B. NSWC Crane 47522 within 90 days after award. Final inspection will be at NSWC Crane, IN. Selection for award will be based on past performance and price. Offers that are non-compliant with any material requirement of this solicitation may be rejected without further consideration for award. This will be a firm fixed price contract and will be awarded utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The contractor shall extend to the Government the full coverage of commercial sale warranty provided such warranty is available at no additional cost to the Government. The offeror shall provide its Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code, Contractor Establishment Code and Tax Identification Number. To be eligible for award you must be properly registered in the Government's Central Contractor Registration (CCR).
