Description

Work to be performed shall include furnishing of all design, engineering, installation labor, technical and professional services, materials, equipment, supplies, transportation and other services necessary to perform Directional Drilling at the Aberden Chemical Agent Disposal Facility (ABCDF)located at the Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG) adjacent to the town of Edgewood, Harford County, Maryland. The installation of the pipeline crossing under Kings Creek located approximately 1500 feet South of the ABCDF project shall be accomplished by the use of directional drilling method at designated locations. The drilling shall be performed only with the equipment adequate for the length and diameter of the bore considered, and for the expected geotechnical conditions. Directional control methods shall be employed which will ensure the location of the bore with the required accuracy. (A) Written quotations shall only be accepted. (B) The anticipated award date is May 14, 2001. When calling be prepared to state name, address and solicitation number. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered.
