Description

To provide paraprofessionals and professionals in BIA funded schools with appropriate training and coursework to ensure an adequate supply of qualified special education, regular education, and related service personnel to maintain high academic standards and clear performance goals for children. These services will be provided to BIA funded schools in the states of North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Florida, North Carolina, and Maine. The resultant contract is anticipated to be a one-year contract with four option years. This acquisition is anticipated to be awarded to Sinte' Gleska Tribal Community College, as they are the only Tribally Controlled College within this region (under the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA)) that are known by the BIA that can provide the accredited professional development activities.
