- Description
- The Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM), Program Manager, Training Systems (SST), is seeking qualified sources capable of assessing current and emerging simulation technologies. The goal of this effort is to develop a hierarchical set of technologies, identify their associated cost and risk constraints, and define a set of business alternatives predicated upon the analytical findings. Simulations systems to be considered include both Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and Government-owned simulations such as MAGTF Tactical Warfare Simulation (MTWS), Joint Semi Automated Forces (JSAF), Joint Conflict and Tactical Simulation (JCATS), and Modular Semi-automated Forces (ModSAF). Firms possessing the expertise to accomplish such a requirement are invited to submit their capabilities statement, including the following: Statement of capabilities to accomplish the proposed effort; current GSA schedule contract information and pricing schedule; and direct experience with simulation and training systems similar to those stated in this notice. Interested firms are requested to respond NLT 30 March 2001, identifying their business size and a corporate point of contact. Following initial assessment of vendor capabilities, qualified firms will be provided with a detailed Statement of Work (SOW) to further develop their approach to the requirements. Offerors will be selected on the basis of oral proposals and limited written submissions addressing (1) Approach to the Requirement, (2) Personnel Qualifications, and (3) Past Performance. Interested parties must be General Services Administration (GSA) schedule holders. Responses should be sent to: Commander, ATTN: CTQ3RC, MARCORSYSCOM, 2033 Barnett Avenue, Suite 315, Quantico VA 22134-5010. FEDEX or UPS deliveries should be send to Commander, ATTN: CTQ3RC, MARCORSYSCOM, 3041A McCawley Ave, Quantico, VA 22134-5010. Any questions regarding the submission of materials should be addressed to Mr. Rob Celeste, 703.784.5822 x244. THE SUBMISSION OF THIS INFORMATION IS FOR PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY AND IS NOT TO BE CONSTRUED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT TO PROCURE ANY ITEMS/SERVICES, NOR FOR THE GOVERNMENT TO PAY FOR THE INFORMATION RECEIVED.
