Description

The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) is seeking a contractor to provide all the necessary services to conduct a Wellness Program at the OPM Federal Executive Institute (FEI) located in Charlottesville, VA. The solicitation will be opened to small business offerors within 45-50 minutes driving time of Charlottesville, VA. The Wellness Program includes assessment, lectures and classes in the following areas: Administration and interpretation of a Health Risk Appraisal instrument; presentation(s) on the risk of heart disease, other chronic diseases, stress, nutrition, and lifestyle habits and their impact on health; regular daily exercise classes in low impact aerobics and walking; staffing of a residential Fitness Center during the first week of each program with people who can introduce resident executives to exercise/weight room equipment and take flexibility and body measurements; development of a FEI Wellness Handbook; and optional behavior modification counseling for nutrition. The contract will be for a period of one year with four additional one-year options periods. The solicitation has been set-aside for small businesses only. Requests for copies of the solicitation should be received, in writing, no later than fifteen calendar days from the date of this listing. Telephone requests will not be honored.
