Description

This is an announcement,ONLY and not a request for solicitation. In accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), 5.202 (a) (13) (iii), the Office of Justice Programs (OJP) and the Acquisition Management Division (AMD) plan to utilize a Bid Board for all hotel sites, over $25,000.00. Setting up this web site address is AMD's method of meeting the FAR requirement for the public to respond to all hotel requirements. The web site for all requirements can be found at: http://www.tdsdc.com/ojphotel/. This also meets the FAR 5.203 (b) requirement, whereby the contracting officer shall establish a solicitation response time that will afford potential offerors a reasonable opportunity to respond to each proposed contract action (including actions via FACNET or for which the notice proposed contract action is accessible through the single, Governmentwide point of entry), in an estimated to be grerater than $25,000.00, but not greater than the simplified acquisition threshold; or each contract action for the acquisition of commercial items in an amount estimated to be greater than $25,000.00 To electronically receive OJP's requirement for hotel sites and conference support, offerors are requested to complete the information on the Bid Board at the above web site. In the web site information, OJP HS is shown for hotel site, and OJP CS refers to conference support. As requirements are listed, offerors will be given five (5) working days to submit their proposals. All questions shall be directed to Eldred Jackson, Contracting Officer at (202) 514-0696.
