- This is a synopsis for commercial service. This announcement constitutes the synopsis only. A written solicitation will be available on this web site on or about 12 Mar 01. This procurement is restricted to 100% small business concerns with an annual income of 11.5 million or less. The solicitation document, which will be available on this web site, will incorporate provisions and clauses that are in effect through the Federal Acquisition Regulation. The NAICS code for this project is 235110. The contractor shall provide all personnel, supervision, materials and equipment, and transportation necessary to perform monthly inspection, maintenance and repair, and emergency service to various makes of chiller units on Kelly Field annex. The contractor shall perform monthly inspections/maintenance to provide for a continued safe, reliable operation of chillers listed in Technical Exhibit 1. Contractor shall also provide emergency response service when verbally notified by the inspector. All inspection maintenance and repair shall be performed in accordance with the manufacturer recommendations for each unit. All interested parties must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) as prescribed in DFARS 252.204-7004 & 252.232-7009. CCR can be obtained by accessing the Internet or by calling 1-888-227-2423. The CCR number must be obtained before award can be made. Once contractors have received the full solicitation package, submit written offers via fax (oral offers will not be considered), to Cathy Garcia or SSGT Jeffrey Phillip at (210) 671-1723. The tentative due date for all quotes will be 21 March 01 by 4:00pm CST. This extension is due to the addition of a bid schedule.
