Description

The following description replaces the description in our submission of March 12, 2001: The work involves constructing a 10-inch steel bypass pipeline, furnishing and installing a bulkhead, dewatering the stilling basin, removing and disposing of rock and debris from the stilling basin, repairing concrete in the stilling basin, and associated earthwork for the items listed above. The estimated price of the work is $100,000 to $250,000. The work is located at Pactola Dam, approximately 12 miles west of Rapid City, South Dakota, in Pennington County. Solicitation packages are anticipated to be available on April 9, 2001. The bid opening is tentatively scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on May 17, 2001, at the Bureau of Reclamation Office, located at 515 9th Street, Room 101, Rapid City, South Dakota 57701. The contract is to be completed by no later than October 15, 2001. There is no charge for the first copy of the solicitation; additional sets will be provided upon receipt of a check or money order of $9.00 each. After issuance the solicitation may be viewed, without charge, at the office shown above, or at the Bureau's office at 316 North 26th Street, Room 2031 Federal Building, Billings, Montana. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered. The small business size standard is $17,000,000 and the standard industrial code is 1629.
