Description

M-Modification to Submission Number 50F7B8 March 9, 2001 8:27-Fire Suppression System to be constructed for a two-story underground building (minimally occupied daily). SOW consists of specifications regarding cutting and patching; environment protection; demolition, salvage of identified items and materials, and removal of resulting rubbish and debris, excavation, trenching for utilities; water distribution system; bituminous surface treatment; pavement markings; concrete sidewalks, curbs, gutters; fencing; seeding; patching of rigid pavement; cast in place concrete; miscellaneous metal; firestopping; general painting; seismic protection for M/E equipment; asbestos abatement; addressable fire detection and alarm; fire pumps; wet pipe, sprinkler system; fire protection preaction sprinkler systems; thermal insulation for mechanical systems; general purpose plumbing; air quality sensing device control systems; insulated wire and cable and interior electrical work. This project is for the Federal Emergency Management Agency, Region I, Federal Regional Center (FRC), Bldg A, 63 Old Marlboro Rd., Maynard, Middlesex County, Massachusetts 01754-2147. A site visit is scheduled for Wednesday, April 11, 2001 at 10:30 a.m. A solicitation package can be requested by mail, phone request or email from the Contracting Officer. Note 25 applies to this solicitation.
