Description

The intent of this project is to secure control services in order to reduce gopher populations in plantations and the borders of same. We estimate an area of approx. 1370 acres to be hand treated with poison grain. Units shall be identified for treatment as gopher activity becomes evident. This contract may begin in early summer or may start as late as the fall, all dependent on the level of gopher activity. This contract may also be terminated for the convenience of the government if there is little or no gopher activity. Project location is on the Emmett Ranger District, specifically, the units are in Townships 10N, 11N, and 12N, Range 2E and in various sections. Est. start date is 06/01/2001. See numbered note #1.
