Description

The Forest Service 2002 Planning Team requests proposals for construction, fabrication and installation of information, interpretation and education exhibits at the Snowbasin Resort Day Lodge near Ogden, Utah. The contractor shall provide all professional services, equipment, travel, materials, labor and facilities to fabricate, deliver and install all work at the Discovery Center, which consists of approximately 900 square feet of exhibit space. The Center is within the privately owned Day Lodge now being constructed with a completion date of 11/15/01. This contract will require production of camera-ready artwork, text/titles/caption reproduction, detailed photo and text wall panels, a topographic model, several encased dioramas with audio wand components and cabinet type work, a small video wall and video presentation, and detailed carvings of flora and fauna of the area. The graphic production work for all exhibits will involve the selection of photographic and graphic images provided by agency and final design and layout of all graphics panels. All work is to be accomplished in accordance with detailed drawings and specifications to be furnished by USDA Forest Service. The proposed issue date is 4/10/01.
