Description

The Government intends to solicit a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and award a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order for the following: Radio Cable Assembly, NSN 5995-01-311-5273, Part Number A3020721-002, Quantity 30. Part of AN/TSC 100. This RFQ will include a 100% option. Delivery to New Cumberland, PA. Packaging IAW ASTMD-3951-98, Commercial. Acquisition of this Radio Cable Assembly is restricted to M/A COM Inc., Lowell, MA., the only source of supply. The Governent physically does not have in its possession sufficient accurate or legible data to procure this part from any other source. Source Control Drawings list M/A COM Inc. as the only source. The Government intends to release the RFQ on or around 2 April 2001 on the U.S. Army Communications and Electronics Command (CECOM) Interagency Interactive Business Opportunities Page (IBOP) web-site (http://abop.monmouth.army.mil). All parties interested in doing business with CECOM are invited to access, operate, send and receive information from the IBOP. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor this site for release of the solicitation and any subsequent amendments or information. The Department of Defense requires all contractors to be registered in the Central Contractor Register (CCR) to receive contract award or payment. See Note 22 and 26.
