Description

Requests should include the company name, address, and solicitation number(s). The contract specialist will not be able to provide copies of the solicitation. This solicitation is for the procurement of part-numbered items manufactured by (78385) Stewart Warner South Wind Corp. -- part numbers: 705840 -- Generator, Pluse; G700791 -- Switch, Thermostatic; G704410-3 -- Switch, Thermostatic; G705241 -- Semiconductor, Device. It will close on or about 29 May 01. This solicitation is for an IDC with FSCs 5895, 5930, and 5961 to be covered. Federal, military and commercial specifications cannot be provided by DSCC. Specifications, plans, or drawings are not available. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the Government. The total extension shall not exceed 2 years. This is an unrestricted acquisition. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete unrestricted technical data, therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources. Items appear to be sole source to Stewart Warner South Wind Corp. While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award may be as described in this solicitation. Note 26 applies. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation as applicable, which if timely received will be considered by the agency.
