All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. This action will be restricted to The Purdy Corporation, 586 Hillard Street, P.O. Box 1898, Manchester, CT 06045-1898 and McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Company, 5000 E. McDowell Road, Meza, AZ 85215-9797. This part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified sources require acquisition of the part from the approved sources. Firms that recognize and can produce this required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves.
