Description

Operational Contracting is attempting to identify companies that are interested in providing commercial travel services for official travel at Hanscom Air Force Base, MA for a period of 5 years (One Year Base Period and 4, One Year Options). The contractor shall be primarily engaged in furnishing travel information and acting as agents in arranging travel in support of Government official travel requirements. These services shall include making travel, car rental, lodging reservations and ticketing and billing. You are encouraged to describe your approach and procedures for the following travel services criteria: Compliance with travel policies (GSA mandatory programs e.g., Contract Airline City Pair); Customer Service, On-Site or Off-Site Services, Hours of Operation, Emergency Services, Billing and Payment Procedures, Services related to making and booking web-site reservations, Methods and Procedures for Compensation to your company, Quality Control Procedures, Ticketing (e-tickets and/or hard copies) and familiarity and/or experience with the Government Individual Billed Account (IBA) and the Government Centralized Billed Account (CBA). Respondents should identify whether they are large or small business. For determining business size, the Standard Industrial Code for this type of service is 4724 -- Travel Agencies as measured by total revenues ($1 million) but EXCLUDING funds received in trust for an unaffiliated third party, such as bookings or sales subject to commissions. The commissions received are included as revenue. In addition to providing the method(s) and procedures for compensation to your company, please provide an approximate Discount Rate Range to the government on official domestic airfare based on an annual dollar volume of $4 million. Contractors that are capable of providing these services are invited to submit information. No cost or pricing data is required or accepted. This is not a request for proposal and the Government does not intend to pay for the information solicited or received. Interested parties should respond to this notice in writing within fifteen (15) calendar days from the date of publication to: ESC/PKOB-2, Attn: James K.
