- Description
- Project Description: (a) Architect and Engineering services, Indefinite Quantity, Open End at the Naval Air Station, Brunswick, Maine. (b) Project Number 1: The first project includes the conversion of the base CAD/GIS system from Microstation to AutoCAD, Integrate external databases, and update Base Map. Provide engineering, programming, scanning, surveying, drafting and related expertise to support the NASB Public Works, Facilities Engineering Division with information systems updates. Candidates must be familiar with AutoCAD, Microstation, MS Access, SQL Server, Windows NT, and mapping software. (c) Subject to necessary changes, the total annual A/E fee that may be paid under this contract will not exceed $250,000 in the base year and $250,000 in the option year. Selection criteria shall be as follows: (1) Specialized experience of the firm for in the type of work required. (2) Professional capacity of the firm to accomplish the work in the time required. (3) Professional qualifications of the staff to be assigned to the project. (4) Past experience with respect to the Defense Department contracts. (5) The firm's CAD capabilities and compatibility with the Naval Air Station's systems. (6) Location of the firm in the geographic area. (7) Volume of work previously awarded by the Department of Defense. (b) A/E firms which meet the requirements described in this announcement are invited to submit completed standard form 254 (U.S. Government Architect-Engineer Qualifications) to Resident Officer in Charge of Construction, 437 Huey Drive, Building 53, Naval Air Station, Brunswick, ME 04011. Firms responding to this announcement with the submittal of SF 255 by 1 May 2001 will be considered. Respondents may supplement this proposal with graphic material and photographs, which best demonstrate the capabilities of the team proposed for the project. This is not a request for proposal (RFP).
