- Description
- The USDA, Forest Service, Region 3, Lincoln National Forest, located in Southern New Mexico, plans to award a contract for tree thinning on the Sacramento Ranger District. Work involves pre-commercial thinning of 300 acres of dense Pinyon-Juniper woodland within a 1000 acre project area. Minimum of 60 groups selection cut with approximately 5 acres in size in mosiac pattern. This is to create mosaic openings for wildlife habitat located approximately 20 miles East of Cloudcroft, New Mexico near Mayhill, New Mexico. Period of performance will be 120 days. The proposed contract is set aside for small business. Qualified businesses wishing to receive a copy of the solicitation must submit their request in writing by FAX with complete name, address, telephone number, FAX number, and point of contact.
