Description
The project consists of helicoper application of Contractor -- furnished seed on approx. 350 acres. The Contractor shall apply seed on scattered private land that is directly south of Atlanta, ID. The project will treat only those acres that have burned with moderate to high severity in which most of the ground cover has been removed. Seed mix consists of 1,750 lbs. of Mountain Brome & 1,750 lbs. Slender Wheat grass, applied at a rate of 5 lbs. per acre. The seed will be free from invasive plant species identified on Idaho Weed lists as well as Regional Weed lists. Project is located on both Montezuma Creek and Quartz Gulch, which is south of Atlanta, ID. Est. start date is 5/1/01. See numbered note #1.
