Email your questions to Glanville Industrious at GVIndustri@atfhq.atf.treas.gov The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) is constructing a new National Laboratory Center in Beltsville, MD, to replace the existing facility in Rockville, MD. As part of this effort it will be necessary for ATF to purchase new systems furniture for this facility. The purpose of this announcement is to identify those industry/manufacturers that: 1. Are capable of producing systems furniture that will fit into a specific metric footprint; 2. Can satisfy the requirements set forth in the available Request for Information (RFI); and 3. Are willing to participate in the ATF Laboratory Furniture Testing Center (LFTC). The new building was designed using hard metric measurements. ATF is awaiting a response to a request for waiver from the requirements to procure from UNICOR. The ATF LFTC will be held in the Rockville, MD facility from May 28 through June 29, 2001. The ATF will offer to cover freight and installation/de-installation costs directly associated with the LFTC in Rockville, MD. The ATF will give preference to products on the General Service Administration's Federal Supply Schedule. The results of this RFI will be analyzed in conjunction with survey data obtained from visitors to the LFTC, to identify products that will satisfy the requirements contained therein. This is not a Request for Proposal. Requests for the RFI package should be directed to Contracting Officer Glanville Industrious, via email at mailto://GVIndustri@atfhq.atf.treas.gov. Technical questions may be directed to Vincent G. Carter via email at mailto://VGCarter@atfhq.atf.treas.gov.
