Description
This is COMBINED SYNOPSIS / SOLICITATION FOR MODIFIED COMMERCIAL ITEMS prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6 and 13.105 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The US Army intends to make this procurement on a non-competitive, negotiated firm fixed price basis with Fermont, A ESSI Company. However, all responsive sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the Agency. This will be on an all or nothing basis. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION: proposals are being requested AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The request for proposal (RFP) number assigned to this acquisition is DAAB07-01-R-D007. This acquisition is to procure 72 each, Heavy Duty Radiators, NSN: 2930-01-470-0217, Manufacturers Part No. 409332-001, P/O 15kW Patriot Generator. Point of Contact is John W. WARRANTY:Standard Commercial Warranty is required. Offerors shall provide copies of warranties with proposal to include information of the length of warranty, effective dates, specific terms and conditions and warranty service provider with company name and contact numbers (telephone, fax, etc.) MARKING / BARCODING: are required IAW ANSI/AIM-BC1, Uniform Symbology Specification Code 39 and MIL-STD-129. PACKAGING AND PACKING: shall be IAW with ASTM D 3951-98, best commercial practices. Solicitation requirements and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-45. Successful offeror will be asked to complete Representations and Certifications, that would ordinarily be included in a solicitation. Offerors are advised of the applicability of the following FAR clauses and provisions: 52.212-1, Instruction to Offers -- commercial; 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- commercial items (Offeror shall include a completed copy of this provision with the written quote); 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions; and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Order -- commercial items.
