- Description
- NASA's Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization is pleased to announce a new and existing training program that introduces firms to the world of commercializing NASA technology. The course entitled "How to Commercialize NASA Technology" had its debut in Washington, DC, last November. NASA and the Minority Owned Business Technology Transfer Consortium, a not-for-profit organization, will now team up to offer the second of three comprehensive, and highly informative two day courses that will guide firms toward expanding into new markets. The new course will be held April 4-5, 2001, at the Doubletree Oceanfront Hotel in Cocoa Beach, Florida, from 8:00 a.m. til 5:00 p.m. This course will cover topics such as obtaining licensing, developing marketing plans, finding venture capital, and nderstanding the commercialization process, to name a few. The instructors are highly skilled in these fields and are NASA employees, consultants, or business owners that have themselves successfully commercialized NASA technology.
