Description

Furnish all plant, labor, and materials necessary to supply and deliver 24 Miter and Quoin Blocks to John T. Myers Lock and Dam, near Uniontown, KY. The Blocks will be fabricated from Stainless Steel conforming to ASTM A 240, Type 304. The Blocks will be milled on all surfaces to the dimensions and finishes provided on the Government's drawings. They are approximately 3" deep by 8.25" wide and the lengths of blocks vary from 6' to 10'. Total length of all blocks is approximately 210'. All of the blocks will have countersunk bolt holes drilled by the Contractor at the locations specified by the Government. Delivery shall be FOB Destination to John T. Myers Lock and Dam. Delivery shall be NTL 12 September 2001. Solicitation Number DACW27-01-B-0011 will be issued approximately 30 March 2001 and the last day for receipt of bids will be approximately 1 May 2001 at 2:00 p.m. (local time). THIS ACQUISITION IS 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE. The NAIC code is 332710 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. Estimated value of the project is $100,000 -- $250,000. THIS PROJECT WILL BE AVAILABLE BY DOWNLOADING FROM THE INTERNET ONLY. The drawing files are in CAL format and can be viewed, navigated or printed using Source View Reader. Both readers are contained in the solicitation package.
