- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation number JFKC01-01-Q-0003 is being issued as an Invitation for Bid. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-11. This solicitation is unrestricted. Following is the Schedule that must be submitted. The item details are provided in the following order: line item number, description, quantity, unit. In your bid, please provide a unit price and total cost for each subline item. 0001-25watt A/19 Clear 130 Volts, 17,000 Life Hours or Longer Lamps, 9960 each. Please include a written guarantee that the lamps are 17,000 hours or longer in the bid. All items shall be shipped to Loading Dock #1 at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Attn: Facilities Department, 2700 F Street NW, Washington, DC 20566-0001 by April 12, 2001. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial applies to this acquisition. A completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items shall be returned with the completed Schedule to the following address: The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Attn: Contracting, 2700 F Street NW Washington, DC 20566-0001 no later than 11:00am on March 29, 2001. Facsimile quotes will be accepted on (202)416-8975, however quotes which are not transmitted in time to be received by this office at or before 11:00am will be late and will not be considered for award. Bear in mind that there is only one facsimile machine and numerous firms may be submitting quotes. Clauses 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items with clause 52.232-34, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer-Other than Central Contractor Registration will apply to the resulting contract.
