Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information provided in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. A quote is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number F22600-01-T0253 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The North American Industry Classification System Code is 61142; small business size standard is $5.0 million. Type of set-aside: Total Small Business. The incorporated document provisions and clauses are to be in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-22. This requirement is for the following items. Item 0001: 26 EA, Microsoft Course #1560, Updating Support Skills from Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 to Microsoft Windows 2000. Item 0002: 25 EA, Microsoft Course #1560, Designing a Microsoft Windows 2000 Directory Services Infrastructure. Item 0003: 25 EA, Microsoft Course #2010, Designing a Microsoft Windows 2000 Migration Strategy. Item 0004: 10 EA, Microsoft Course #689, Supporting Microsoft Enterprise Technologies. Item 0005: 8 EA, Microsoft Course #688, Microsoft TCP/IP. Item 0006: 12 EA, Microsoft Course #803, Microsoft Admin Windows NT. Item 0007: 11 EA, Microsoft Course #922, Windows NT Core Technologies. Item 0008: 10 EA, Microsoft Course #1026, Exchange Administration 5.5. A Technical Schedule of classes should be submitted. Classes will be held at vendor's site with an estimated running time from April to final classes not later than August 2001. All items will be awarded as an aggregate award to one vendor. The following clauses and provisions are incorporated and are to remain in full force in any resultant purchase order; FAR Part 52.212-1 Instructions to Offeror-Commercial Items (Oct 00) is incorporated by reference, applies to this acquisition and is amended to read: submit signed and dated offer to 81CONS/LGCB, 310 M Street, Room 102, Keesler AFB, MS 39534-2147 on or before 1530 (3:30 p.m.) CST 19 Mar 01. Quotations must be signed, dated and submitted on your Company's letterhead or quotation form. Quotations may be submitted via FAX (228-377-3298) to John Walker's attention or by E-mail to john.walker@keesler.af.mil. Clause 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items (Jan 99) Evaluation Factors past performance, technically acceptable product and price will be evaluated as being substantially equal. Price evaluation will also include the cost of travel expenses to the training facility. The government reserves the right to make award on the initial quote without discussions. Each Offeror shall include a completed copy of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certifications-Commercial Items (Jan 01) with its quote. FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items (May 99) is incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition with the following addendum: DFARS 252.204-7004 Required Central Contractor Registration (Mar 00). The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items (Aug 00) and 252.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes on Executive Orders applicable to Defense acquisitions of commercial items (Dec 00) are incorporated by reference, however, for paragraph (b) only the following clauses apply: 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity (E.O. 11246); 52.222-35, Affirmative Action for Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era (38 U.S.C. 4212); 52.222-36, Affirmative Action for Workers with Disabilities (29 U.S.C. 793); 52.222-37, Employment Reports on Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era(38 U.S.C. 4212); 52.232-34, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer-Central Contractor Registration (31 U.S.C. 3332), 252.225-7001, and 252.225-7036. This is a DO rated order with an identification symbol of S10. A firm-fixed price purchase order will be issued in writing or faxed to John Walker at 228-377-3298 or E-mailed to john.walker@keesler.af.mil to arrive not later than 19 Mar 2001. No telephonic responses will be processed.
