Description

This is a notice of intent to issue a firm fixed price contract for grass mowing at USACE, Falls Lake Project, Wake Forest, NC., for a base period with four (4) option periods. Work consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, vehicles, fuel and materials to cut grass, weeds and other vegetation in the public use and administrative areas. The mowing will require the use of power lawn mowers, weed eaters and handtools. Bushhogging will routinely be required in one area. Firms responding to this announcement will be sent invitation for bid (IFB) DACW54-01-B-0007 o/a March 30, 2001. Request shall be made in writing or fax (910) 251-4454, not later than 15 days from date of this publication. This proposed procurement is changed from 100% Small Business Set-Aside to 100% HUBZONE Set-Aside. NAIC 56173 (SIC 0782). The HUBZONE Size Standard is $5 million*****UNCLASSIFIED
