Description
This amendment, identified as amendment 0001, is submitted for clarification purposes. The following additional information is provided: 1. Engine information: Cummins Model KTA-2300G, PT (type-G) fuel pump, PT (type-D) injectors. [MEP208A]. 2. Copies of original housing drawings provided. See 25 sheet drawing package. 3. It is desirable that external fuel fill opening be removed. Internal fuel filling shall be provided for. 4. It is desired that load cable entry way be modified to allow a single opening for cable entry. 5. It is desired that 2 sets of double doors be provided on either side of the engine/generator to allow for maintenance access. 6. Design must retain, at minimum, the existing area of louvered opening to allow for proper airflow. 7. Louvered openings shall be latchable in the open, closed and mid positions. For shipping and operation. 8. Provisions shall be made on the enclosure for lifting it. Standard lifting of entire unit will be retained. Enclosure lifting points shall be rated to safely lift the enclosure and related components. 9. Exhaust system shall be modified to include internal exhaust silencers with stacks exiting the container sides through bolted on exhaust stacks. 10. Integral ladder is not required as in original. 11. Modify alternating current lighting system (4 lights) to allow for expedient disconnection and connection to expedite house removal. 12. Modify direct current lighting system (3 lights) to allow for expedient disconnection and connection to expedite house removal. 13. Modify alternating current convenience receptacle system (2 outlets) to allow for expedient disconnection and connection to expedite house removal. 14. Remove sound powered telephone jacks. 15. Radiator fill door in roof is the only acceptable roof penetration. 16. Lower exposed portion of skid shall be painted to match the enclosure and re-stenciled with lifting and tie-down information. 17. Shore power and interconnecting cable openings may be modified but shall retain their original positions. 18. All control room components shall retain their original mounting positions and locations.
