Description

Work consists of, but is not limited to, providing services required to issue ANSI B30 certification for the crane systems at Locks and Dams 3 through 10 on the Mississippi River (nine units total). The crane systems consist of a new Westmont Corporation rail-mounted locomotive undercarriage including a pair of overhung bulkhead hoisting arms (82,500 lb. capacity) and a pair of removable jib hoists (10,000 lb. capacity), along with a Link Belt TC-78 series, 25 ton capacity, rotating, lattice boom crane superstructure that has been removed from an old undercarriage and mounted to the new undercarriage. This proposed acquisition will utilize commercial item procedures. This procurement is 100 percent set aside for small business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541990, with a small business size standard of $5 Million.
