Description

Log scaling (measurement of the volume of logs being sold) and volume reports of National Forest logs. Services to be conducted at various mill yards and truck scaling ramps throughout Region 6 (Oregon and Washington). Multiple, one-year, option-to-renew, task-order type contracts are anticipated. Task orders will be placed as needed, in accordance with contract requirements. A pre-bid/offer meeting will be held at the Regional Office, Region 6, Portland, Oregon. Date, time and office address will be noted in the solicitation package. THE SOLICITATION IS EXPECTED TO ISSUE APRIL 13, 2001.
