- Description
- Contractor is to furnish all labor, tools, equipment and for upgrading electrical services to USCG Base Charleston, South Carolina. Work includes but is not limited to the following: Existing electrical main service shall be upgraded as indicated in drawings and specifications. Contractor shall provide temporary generators for the Rice Mill Building, Pier, MSO Building, Barracks, and Industrial Building during power interruption portion of the work. There is no charge for the bid package. This solicitation is being issued as a Small Business Set-Aside. The estimated dollar value of this project is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. The performance period is 60 calendar days. The applicable North American Industry Class System (NAICS) Code is 235310. The small business size standard is a three-year averaged annual gross receipts of $11.5 million. A Payment Bond is required prior to issuance of Notice to Proceed. All bid requests must be submitted in writing, and may be faxed to (305)278-6696. No telephone requests shall be accepted. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which will be considered by this agency. ATTENTION: Minority, Women-owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs)! The Department of Transportation (DOT), offers working capital financing and bonding assistance for transportation related contracts. DOT_s Bonding Assistance Program (BAP) offers bid, performance, and payment bonds in contracts up to $1,000,000.00. DOT_s Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers lines of credit to finance accounts receivable. Maximum line of credit is $500,000.00 with interest at the prime rate.
