Description
Contractor shall provide all labor, material, supervision, and transportation to construct a new 120 SF mechanical room addition to an existing duplex housing unit, with all equipment within the mechanical room needed for conversion of the existing electrical heating system to oil-fired forced hot water heating system. The work also includes relocation of electrical meter, reconfiguring the electrical distribution system, the removal of existing fire alarm system, the abatement of asbestos floor tile in two half bathrooms and two full bathrooms, complete renovation of the two full bathrooms on the second floor and incidental related work. Estimated cost range is between $25,000 and $100,000. NAICS code 235110 is applicable. Solicitation packages to be available on or about 3/30/01. Due date for receipt of quotes will be on or about 4/24/01 at 4:00 PM local time. Contractors are advised to verify the number of amendments issued with the Contracting Officer prior to the due date.
