Description

Provide bus transportation from Camp Buckner (West Point), NY to Fort Knox, KY and return trips. The schedule is as follows: 13 July 2001, approximately 170 personnel from Camp Buckner to Fort Knox; 14 July 2001, approximately 510 personnel from Camp Buckner to Fort Knox; 19 July 2001, approximately 170 personnel from Fort Knox to Camp Buckner; 20 July 2001, approximately 510 personnel from Fort Knox to Camp Buckner; 27 July 2001, approximately 170 personnel from Camp Buckner to Fort Knox; 28 July 2001, approximately 510 personnel from Camp Buckner to Fort Knox; 2 August 2001, approximately 170 personnel from Fort Knox to Camp Buckner; and 3 August 2001, approximately 510 personnel from Fort Knox to Camp Buckner. Bus capacity must be a minimum of 55 seats and be less than three years old which would include 35% increased baggage capacity and have a 1,200 mile fuel range without refueling. Buses must be equipped with A/C, restrooms and TV/VCR. Driver relief required after ten (10) hours. Bus supervisor will be required at all departures. Tolls are to be included in quoted prices. Request for Quotations (RFQ) DAAG60-01-T00119 will be issued on or about 19 March 2001 with offers due on or about 18 April 2001. Copies of the solicitation may be requested from the Contract Specialist via e-mail or facsimile. This requirement is 100% set-aside for small business. The SIC code applicable to this procurement is 4142 with a size standard of $5 million. To be eligible for award, offerors must be MTMC approved and registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered.
