With over 10,000 federal employees at this location, we are expecting an excellent attendee turnout!! Naval Station Bremerton has the largest naval shore activity in the Pacific Northwest and is one of Washington State=s largest industrial installations, both in terms of plan investment and in number of employed civilians! It is a United States Department of Navy facility that repairs, overhauls, and provides maintenance and decommissioning of ocean-going vessels, including nuclear-powered ships. In addition, The Naval Station Bremerton is the only Shipyard that removes defueled reactor compartments from decommissioned nuclear submarines.
