Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division at Patuxent River, MD has a requirement for the Operation and Maintenance of their range operations, telemetry antenna receiving and processing system, calibration and repair of aircraft ground support equipment and the installation of airborne equipment. Other functions are to include system operations, laboratory and field testing, engineering maintenance, and data reduction and analysis. It is anticipated that the requirement will be for a one (1) Base Year with four (4) Option Years. The number of labor hours for the base year is estimated at 835,556 hours. For the full five-year period, the estimated level of effort is 4,529,057 hours. These services will be performed primarily at the Naval Air Warfare Center. However, other areas may be included and will be identified in the Statement of Work. Specific tasking and a description of the required labor categories will be provided in the Statement of Work. The solicitation will be issued on a Unrestricted Full and Open Competitive basis. The contract will be a Cost Plus Fixed Fee contract. NOTE: Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to be eligible for contract award or payment from any Department of Defense agency. This requirement is a follow-on to contract N00421-96-C-1390, which was awarded to DynCorp.
