SOLICITATION NUMBER: F41621-01-R-0011 Modification to Synopsis. Changed from Sources Sought to Pre-Soliciation Notice. HQ-AIA/LGCKA, 251 Kirknewton, Bldg 2088, San Antonio, Tx 78243-7034 Joint Modeling and Training Simulations II, (JMATS II), Solicitation F41621-01-R-0011, Contact Point: Terry L. Services Non personal will provide analysis, development and exercise support services to the Joint Information Operations Center (JIOC) in three areas: (1) studies for software development of aggregate level and analytical simulations and models for Information Operations (IO) training and force on force exercises; (2) exercise support consisting of pre-exercise simulations preparations and models operations support for JIOC participation in training and exercises; and (3) maintenance of selected JIOC software. JMATS II procured models and simulations will cover the full range of IO technical disciplines including, but not limited to, operations security, psychological operations, military deception, counter deception, electronic warfare, public affairs, civil affairs, physical security, counter intelligence, information assurance, computer network attack and defense, counter propaganda, and destruction. Most if not all of the applicable documents (technical library, SOO, Sample Task, Section L, Section M ) for this requirement will be posted on the following URL: (http://sarah.brooks.af.mil/Sarah/AdvertisedSolicitations.asp?div=aia) Any changes or updates to this requirement will be posted on this URL. The acquisition will be acquired using Median Source Selection Procedures, it will be based on a Requirements Contract with one year basic ordering period, and four one year options. Two types of pricing arrangements will be used; Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) and Time and Materials (T&M). A pre-solicitation conference has been scheduled for 9:00 AM, Thursday, 22 March 01, Conference Room ABC, at 37th Contracting Squadron, 1655 Selfridge Avenue, Building 5450, Lackland Air Force Base, Texas 78236-5253. The approximate issue date for the final RFP is 16 April 01, and the approximate due date will be 30 May 01.
