Description

The Naval Air Systems Command intends to place provisional orders under Contract N00019-99-C-1516 with Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation for repair or overhaul of components and associated technical data for the VH-3D and VH-60N executive aircraft. Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation is the original aircraft designer for the VH-3D and VH-60N and is the only known source with the knowledge, experience, and technical data necessary to perform this effort in a timely and cost effective manner. White House security requirements dictate that Sikorsky is the only available source.
