Description

OKANOGAN NATIONAL FOREST ROAD MAINTENANCE CONTRACT The USDA Forest Service is seeking proposals for seasonal routine maintenance, for three years, of Forest Service Roads located within and adjacent to the Okanogan National Forest. The majority of the work will be the routine blading of aggregate and native surfaced single lane roads, with ditch cleaning, culvert replacement, road closures, and other maintenance work as needed. Some water truck work may also be required. Location is within the Okanogan National Forest (ONF), which lies in the north central part of Washington State from Winthrop and Twisp areas to Areas surrounding Tonasket, WA. Road maintenance work will lie mostly within the Tonasket Ranger District, although some work may be required in the Methow Valley Ranger District (Twisp and Winthrop). The majority of the work will be the routine blading of aggregate and native surfaced single lane roads approximately 400 kilometers per season. A three year indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract with options is contemplated. Task order work usually runs from May 1st to July 1st, shuts down due to fire danger and then recommences September 1st through October 30th of each season. NAICS code for this acquisition is 234900 with small business size of $2.5 million. This acquisition is a HUBzone set-aside.
