Description

This procurement is restricted: All responsible sources may sumit a quotation. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commerical items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in the notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number N00206-01-Q-G008 applies and is issued as a request for quotation. This solocitation document and incorporated provisions ans clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-37 and Defense Acquisition Circular91-10. The Standard Industrial Code 16 7372 and the business size standard is $14.5. This requirement is for a fixed priced contract for the following: line item 0001, quantity 50, each, part #2010-1001, Oracle 8i Standard Edition named -- Single Server, line item 0002, quantity 50, each, part #2010-1001s, One year Silver Support for Oracle 8i Standard Edition named Single Server, line item 0003, quantity 27, each, part #2010-1000, Oracle 8i Enterprise Edition named -- Single Server, line item 0004, quantity 27, each, part #2010-1000s, One year Silver Support for Oracle 8i Enterprise Edition named-Single Server, line item 0005, quantity 27, each, part #2010-1021, Internet Application Server Enterprise Edition named -- Single Server, line item 0006, quantity 27, each, part #2010-1021s, One year Silver Support for Internet Application Server Interprise Edition named -- Single Server. Delivery of all items is required 30 days after award of contract to be delivered FOB destinatin to: Enlisted Personnel Management Center, 4400 Daupine Street, Bldg 603, Rm 425, New Orleans La 70159-7900. Acceptance shall be made at destination. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to offerors-commerical items applies. Addendum to FAR 52.212-1; Paragraph (h), Multiple award -- delete intire paragraph and substitute "Award". The Government intends to (award a single) contract resulting from this solicitation." Quotors are required to complete and include a copy of the following provisions with theri porposals: FAR 52.212-3, Offeror representation and Certificatins-Commerical items. Also DFARS 252-225-7000, Buy American Act and Balance of payments program certificate. Clauses 52.212-4, Contract terms and conditions commerical items, applies. Addendum to FAR 52.212-4; Paragraph (o) Warranty -- add: "Additionally the fovernment will accept the contractor's commerical warranty." The clause at 52.212-5, Contract terms and conditions required to implement statutes or executive orders-Commerical items applies with the following applicable clauses for paragraph (b): FAR 52.222-26, Equal opportunity; FAR 52.222-35, Affirmative action for special disabled and Vietnam ERA Verterans; FAR 52.222-37, Employment reports and special disabled Veternans and Veterans of the Vietnam ERA. DFARS 252.212-7001, Contract terms and conditions required to implement statutes or executive orders applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commerical items, applies with the following clauses applicable for paragraph (b); and DFARS 525.225-7001, Buy American Act and balance of payment program. The government intens to make a single award to the responsible contractor's whose quotation is most advantageous to the Government considering price and price-related factor. This solicitations will be evaluated on the follow factors: -- All responsible sources may submit a quotation which, if recerived in a timely manner shall be considered by the agency. -- Award to be made to the Offers that meets the solicitation's mandatory requirements at the lowest price. Note: A copy of commericla catolog/published price list required on all open market items. Quotations must be received no later than 3:00pm, Central Time, 3/29/01.
