Description

BID OPENING, Tuesday, May 1, 2001 at 2:00 pm PST. This project consists of re-roofing building #1T at the Yakama Tribal School located in Toppenish, WA with a rolled steel roofing system. Square footage is as follows: 1) 18,000 sq. ft, class rooms and offices, 2) 9,080 sq. ft of gym and locker rooms and 3) 4,800 sq. ft located on the east end of the building. Total project sq. ft is 31,880. Owner: Bureau of Indian Affairs. Estimated range for this project is 250,000 to 275,000. Evaluation factor for award is price and responsiveness to the solicitation. The contract shall be awarded as a fixed price contract. Duration of the project is 60 calendar days after written notice to proceed. Bidder shall refer to SEC 7b of P.L. 93-638 (25 CFR 450e) and Clause DIAR 1452.226-70, Indian Preference opportunities be provided in employment, training and awarding subcontracts be given to Indian organizations and Indian-owned firms.
